Braelyn Addison is here!!!!!!

We are finally home after 5 long days. So I went in on Sunday to be induced at 9:00 at night. They inserted some gel into me to soften the cervex right away and did that every 4 hours. I started getting contractions shortly after and they were about 5 min. apart all night. In the morning they checked me and my cervex was starting to soften alittle but I wasen't dilated or effaced at all :-( I spent the rest of the day having contractions that got closer and closer together. In the afternoon when they checked me I was still only dilated to a 2. I stayed that way for most of the day. They were going to break my water but she was still too high and I wasn't dilated enough.Finally around 10:00 at night after 25 hours of labor the checked me and I was dilated to a 4 so they broke my water and contractions started coming back to back and were very painful. They said I could get an epidural I was so happy. The epidural hurt very badly and they had a hard time doing it and had to do it twice :-( but after that I didn't feel a thing. After a few more hours of labor I was feeling alot better and was able to sleep on and off I was pretty out of it due to all the pain meds. Then Braelyn's heart rate kept going down whenever I had a contraction and they were getting very worried about her so at around 2:30 after 30 long hours of labor they decided I needed to have a C-section. They called the DR. and he was there in 10 mins. They preped me and had me in the room by 3:00 and at 3:04 I finally had Braelyn. She was so beautiful. It was definitely all worth it I love her so much :-) I am really tired and sore though and so glad to finally be home with her.
