Cloth Diapers

While I was pregnant with Brae out of nowhere Mark asked me if I was going to cloth diaper her. I just looked at him shocked. I had never really given it much thought. So I decided to check it out and was amazed at what the cloth diapers were like now days. They are so soft and pretty :) So I did a ton of research on them and then started to buy a NB and small stash. I was so excited about using them. Then after I got home with Brae I couldn't get all my cute diapers to fit well. So I used them off and on but wasn't so sure about it anymore. They were so huge on such a small baby. I knew I would never get used to clothes not fitting because her bum was so huge lol. Cloth diapers tend to be a little bulkier but they were really bad when she was so small. I think a lot of it was also the diapers I got just weren't working for her. So after 2 months of using them on and off I decided to sell them all :( So I went and listed them on Diaperswapper and they started to sell but I was on there a lot checking on if things were selling. One day everyone was talking about how Mutts were going to be stocking. There was a HUGE thread all day talking about it. So of course I read up and checked out the stocking. They had the prettiest diapers :) Next thing I knew I had bought one lol Opps I was trying to SELL my diapers not buy more. Well in a week when it came I fell in love with it. It fit Brae perfect and was so soft and pretty. So I decided to give it a try again. I still had some diapers that hadn't sold and they still fit her and worked better since she had gotten bigger. She ever since that day she has never had a sposie on :) I love her diapers and feel great about them every time I put one on her. They are not only better for the environment but they are better for her too :)

4th of July

HAPPY 4TH OF JULY

I had to work this morning. I had a full day. Starting with Lorraine getting color. Brandy and Bianca getting HC's and Crystal getting a perm. I got off at 4:00. Me and Mark aren't doing any thing tonight. We are tired and needed a break. We have been gone every weekend. It will be nice to just stay home and rest. I hope everyone has a great 4th :) 

Jim's party

Me and Braelyn went to "Grandpa" Jim's party tonight. It was very nice. He had it at Puzzlers Pub and had a buffet and free beer :) Everyone loved Brae like they always do lol. She had a blast being the center of attention. There were some other kids there and they were having fun playing with her. We only stayed till 9:00 because I had to get her home to bed.

9 months

Today Braelyn is 9 months :) My baby is getting so big. She is learning new things everyday. Today we were passing by a picture of her and she said baby. She kept looking at the picture and saying baby. It was cute :) I gave her some yo baby organic yogurt today and she loved it.

So me and Mark eat out a lot and we decided we need to start making lunches and dinner at home instead. Today I made Mark a lunch for work. PB & J sandwich, banana, yogurt, fruit flat and a drink. Nothing great but it was what we had in the house. When he got to work he put it in the fridge and when he went to get it later for lunch it was gone :(

Work

Today I was going to take Braelyn to the FCM but we were going to meet there at 11:00 and I had to be to work early at 2:00 to do a client. I have to take Brae out to my moms on Tuesdays so I decided it would not give us much time out there and we would have to go another day. So I get to work at 2:00 and my client didn't even show up :( I was not happy. Then my last 2 clients ended up canceling. So I only had one haircut on the book so Jessi let me go home early. Since my mom had Brae I decided to go and get my nails done. Then I went and picked her up and was home before 9:00 when I was supposed to get off work lol. It was nice to be home early.

Cooks dairy farm

Today I took Braelyn to the dairy farm with the play group. She got to see cows, pigs and even pet a baby cow. She enjoyed being outside and being around the other kids and I got to get some yummy ice cream :) I will have to take Braelyn back when she is older and will be able to enjoy the cows and have some ice cream :)

Tomorrow I have to go into work early but I am still going to try and take Braelyn to the Flint Children's Museum. She loves being able to crawl all over the place there and watch all the kids play.

Just a relaxing Sunday

So my Mom, Rick and I went to the wedding yesterday. Mark was not feeling well :( His throat was hurting. I really hope he don't get sick like I did. Well the wedding was very nice. It was a beach theme and had a really pretty aqua as the color. They had shells on the tables and little tiny buckets with graham crackers as sand and candy that looked just like real rocks. I didn't stay late since I wanted to go get Braelyn so she could get to bed. She stayed with Great Granny and Aunt Kathy.

Tomorrow I will be taken Braelyn to the dairy farm with the playgroup. I am really looking forward to it. I haven't been able to attend a playdate in awhile since I was sick. I hope we have good weather.

Today I don't have much planned. I am going to have Mark watch Braelyn so I can go to the grocery store and then maybe get some stuff done around the house and just relax. Maybe I will be able to watch a movie tonight but probably not lol.

Almost 9 months

Braelyn is going to be 9 months old next week :( She is growing so fast. She is so active right now. She is crawling all over the place and wanting to get into everything lol. She can pull herself up on things and loves standing. When she is in her pack and play she stands up and holds the edge and starts rocking really hard lol. The kid is fearless.

When we went to the Dr last she was 20lbs and I think

 29 inches. She is a big girl lol.

We went last week and got her picture taken. I will post them as soon as they come in. They said july 10th. I will also be going and getting a few more taken. I have been bad about getting pics taken. I did really well at first and got them done at 6 weeks, 3 months and 5 months but then I got busy and didn't get them done till 9 months 

opps. I will be getting them done at 1 year and 18 months too though. Here are her pics so far.

Blogging more

WOW I really need to start blogging more. I started this and had forgot all about it lol. Today me and Mark have a wedding to go too. It will be nice to get dressed up and get out :) 

Braelyn wouldn't go to sleep last night untill 11:00 :( I kept trying to go and lay down with her but she just didn't want to sleep. Then she woke up this morning at 6:30 and has been up since. I really hope she takes a good nap today. Her top tooth still hasn't popped through yet poor girl. It seems to be taken forever. I have been able to see the tooth right there about ready to pop through for a few weeks now.
